Something Can Grow From All You Are Going Through
About Us
We create and implement initiatives to provide music-based treatment opportunities for those suffering with mental health issues.
We ourselves have experienced how music can help heal and transform, and plant seeds that have helped us recover and learn to live lives full of purpose.
Now it is our mission to share with those still suffering, the power of music to enhance and effect recovery.
WHAT WE DO
Our music-based initiatives are intended to give those who are still healing the confidence and self-assurance to continue on their path.
FINDING YOUR VOICE – Our pilot initiative
We’ve found that finding their voice can help someone find themselves. Through this initiative, we provide singing lessons to people who are new to their journey of recovery/self-improvement. Regular voice lessons can provide discipline and accountability, which leads to growth and confidence.
Currently we provide up to 10 lessons to each candidate, recommended to us by our partner organizations.

Paula ROBERTSON
Being in long-term recovery from substance abuse and actively working a program of healing did not shield Paula Robertson from tragedy. After losing several family members to the disease of addiction, Paula realized she needed to find a reason to go on that did not include using painkillers to ease her suffering. In her search for a solution, she found joy—and, more importantly, purpose—in helping others overcome addiction. Her goal is to provide boots-on-the-ground support for those fighting the epidemic of substance abuse, as well as holistic methods for healing that give people in recovery confidence and hope.
Jam Alker
Jam Alker is a musician, public speaker, and recovery activist. When he was in treatment for his addiction, he rediscovered the power of music to heal and to connect people, culminating in the release of his first solo album, Sophrosyne. Since then, he has made it his mission to share the healing powers of music. As a public speaker, he shares his recovery perspective and his music to educate communities, high school and middle school students, recovery organizations, healthcare providers, and corporations, about the stigma of addiction and the hope of recovery. In 2019, he was invited to speak about addiction and recovery at both Google’s Palo Alto and Chicago headquarters. He also continues to use music to reach others still struggling.
